Board of Directors
Path Haven provides affordable transitional housing for youth aging out of foster care. Our Board of Directors provide operational oversight and fundraising assistance. Board meetings occur online quarterly. Board requirements include an annual give/get and training of Robert's Rules of Order as necessary. Members should be able to think critically, advise sincerely, maintain confidentiality and share compassion for Path Haven's mission. This is an excellent opportunity to engage with Department of Children Services (DCS) officials, business executives, ministers, foster parents, educators, etc. to ensure children in foster care transition to adulthood successfully.
Role Description
This is a part-time, online role for a Board Member. The Board Member will be responsible for attending board meetings, providing strategic guidance and oversight, ensuring proper governance and financial oversight, and actively participating in decision-making processes. Additionally, the Board Member will contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, support fundraising efforts, and collaborate with other board members and the executive team to ensure the organization's success.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Leadership and Governance skills, including strategic planning and decision-making
Financial oversight and management experience
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience in policy development and implementation
Fundraising and resource mobilization capabilities, including an annual give/get
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Experience in the non-profit sector is beneficial
Knowledge of Tennessee foster care and extended foster care
10-25 years of experience in leadership roles
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, or a related field

Director of Development
Path Haven provides affordable transitional housing for youth aging out of foster care. The Executive Team at Path Haven serves to achieve the company’s mission and goals. The role of the Director of Development works closely with the Executive Director to oversee Path Haven’s fundraising, event productions, marketing and public relations.
Role Description
This is an exciting, incentive-based, online role with significant earning potential. Alongside the Executive Director, the Director of Development will represent the organization publicly and correspond with our grantors, sponsors, donors, clients, customers and audience. The Director of Development will orate interviews, copy write, fundraise, design ads and marketing materials, update website and social media content, correspond, collaborate and network extensively. He/She will strategically plan and implement initiatives, projects, campaigns and endeavors within allocated budgets. The Director of Development will report the performances of these implementations at weekly scrums, along with achievement of KPIs quarterly and company goals throughout the fiscal. Path Haven will provide unwavering support for performance success.

Fundraising, donor relations, grant writing and event management within budget
Enjoys copy writing, journalism and generating website content; Experience with Ai-generated content preferred
Management of the The Path Forward quarterly newsletter with advertisement income
Posts raffle drawings on the website monthly and through social media daily; Regular social media content posting
Manages the online store, along with procurement and sales of company merchandise
Satisfies press relations and publication inquiries
5 - 10 years of experience fundraising, public relations, social media, advertisements and marketing preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field
